TimeLapse Video

I’ve been doing marketing work for several years, and recently discovered an inexpensive way to make time-lapse videos.  I started making them for some friends who do contracting work, and decided to offer the service to the public.

If you are a contractor-  this can easily be one of the cheapest, and best ways to market yourself and your trade.  It works amazingly well with jobs that make big visible changes in a day or two.

Painters, Drywall installers, Builders, Landscapers, Carpet installers, Tile, Granite, Countertop, Roofing-  all can benefit from good time lapse video of your work.

Place Video:

  1. 1.On YouTube

  2. 2.On Facebook

  3. 3.Link from your Website

  4. 4.Link it in your Email

  5. 5.Embed it in your Website

A Contractor’s best marketing tool-is his/her own work.

Nothing illustrates the skill and efficiency with which a contractor works than a time lapse film of a project from start to finish.  I know because I just filmed myself and a contractor building my garage.  (That’s me after hanging drywall)

With modern equipment,  it is surprisingly affordable.  Certain point and shoot cameras offer time lapse functions that can be combined with some software to produce short movies in High Definition which can identify you, your website, your contact information, and illustrate your trade from set up to sun down.

We can help you put these videos on youtube, facebook, twitter, your website, or even email.

To improve your marketing campaign in under one week-  give me a call.  Once you have a good project lined up that would illustrate your work, I’ll come out the day you start and set up a camera on a tripod.  I’ll need to come back at lunch and end of the day to recharge batteries and download the pictures.  If you are working over a large area,  I’ll show you how to move the camera and set up your shots.

At the end,  I’ll need to download all the photos, and compile them into a movie.  This can take several hours,  but I’ve got special software to get it done.  Then I can add music, credits and titles that identify you, your website, your contact information, etc.  Then I can upload it to youtube, facebook, twitter, your website, etc.

If you are real savvy-  you’ll sell it to the client (with different credits and titles) to cover the cost and get your marketing for free.

Usually I need 2 hours a day to go to your job site and set things up, and return to change batteries and download the pictures.  I’ll need another 2-4 hours to compile the movie and add music and graphics.  That’s a solid time lapse video-  posted where you want it for around $200 dollars!

I only work in the greater Twin Cities area.  If you are interested in getting some video cut and posted online-  shoot us an email today!
